Best Friends Day Nursery is situated in the grounds of Abbey Gate School, Chester.


The Day Nursery is co-owned and run by Denise Pedder and Julie Davies who have been friends for 25 years and worked together in childcare for 15 years.

The nursery provides a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment. The nursery can accommodate children and adults with additional needs. We have a baby room, a toddler room and a large pre-school. Children enjoy the opportunity to play in our special themed room, which is changed each month; themes have included Santa's grotto, Australian jungle, and fairy tale castle.

The Chester nursery grounds have a large area for bike and scooter riding and a grassy area. There are many interesting trees and plants in the nursery and this year we will be opening a children's nature garden. We have recently started our own organic vegetable gardens. The children can now eat vegetables grown and looked after by themselves.
