the cuddly caterpillars room

The cuddly caterpillars room will accommodate 12 babies aged between 3 months to 2 years. Children are put into groups according to their age and have their own key worker. The adult to child ratio is 1-3.

The caterpillar room has the security of it's own building which includes separate sleeping, nappy change and bottle prep rooms. All children have individual bedding, which is kept in bags with their pictures on.

Activities include, painting, cooking, heuristic play, sensory activities, which include jelly, cereal, paper play. Babies are taken out in the fresh air twice a day and have frequent trips to the park. This year the babies will have their own outdoor play area.
